The 10-week cybersecurity Jet Acceleration Program organized by HAVELSAN and the Turkish cybersecurity cluster has ended with the final day.

With the training and mentoring they received, 9 teams made their presentations to the jury, including HAVELSAN and SSB officials, and 3 teams were awarded.

The first company Swordsec has acquired with its cloud-based digital asset discovery tool. With the developed product, information collection processes in cyber intelligence can be reduced to minutes.

Swordsec CEO Seyfullah Kılıç thanked all the institutions and individuals who contributed to the JET acceleration program, especially HAVELSAN and Turkey Cyber Security Cluster, and said, “during the Program, HAVELSAN jet program supported our team and sales process by receiving trainings on important issues such as marketing and sales.”

Swordsec will take place in London as first prize for Cyber Security & amp; Cloud Expo Global 2020 fair together with HAVELSAN to participate in this important event and to promote their products.

Second place in the competition was Mercury defense company with its products that provide end-to-end protection of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) communications infrastructure.

Company official Melike Bagcı said, “when we started the JET Acceleration Program, we only had a wide-ranging idea. However, we have clarified our focus through trainings, mentorships and customer interviews, designed our solution, established our product identity, identified our potential customers, and found business partnership opportunities.”with the PiriForce project, Secpoint gets the intelligence needed to prevent cyber incidents. Bilal Cihat Öztürk, Secpoint official, 5 years ago in China with cyber security IASP (International Associacion of Science Parks) said that he met the event, “I started to do research on this subject. In the same years, I conducted interviews with experts to understand how this business was in Turkey. Then, thinking there was a shortfall in the CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence) area, I set up my own team and participated in the Jet Acceleration Program,” he said.

HAVELSAN Deputy Chairman of the board of directors Mustafa Şenol, HAVELSAN board member Yüksel Aksöz and Defense Industry Head of Cyber Security Department Mustafa Özçelik presented their awards to the winning teams.
