The asymmetric war environment is full of unpredictable threats. It is vital to raise awareness of military personnel against these threats and carry out technical and tactical operations in a practical manner.
HAVELSAN Training, Simulation and Test Center for Combat in Residential Areas is an integrated training center that allows training to be conducted in real and simulated residential areas, virtual simulators and armed conflict simulations. HAVELSAN combines its high knowledge in the field of simulation and training systems with current technologies to provide realistic presentation of the environment of the residential area, management, execution and evaluation of the training by means of simulation systems that the Armed Forces will use in the scope of basic training to combat hostile elements in the residential area.
The System established on 7000 m2 area developed for the Ministry of Interior Gendarmerie General Command. 9 single-storey, 2 double-storey buildings, adapted from the conflict zone and built as a neighborhood environment, consist of 64 rooms, 16 corridors and hidden tunnels. The trainee is transferred to the field to perform the task after the information given by the instructor and all the actions he / she has made during the mission execution are recorded. Simulated threats are used to make a difference within the system, and all threats can be managed remotely through the Command and Control Software (CCS). Tracking of trained personnel can be done by remote cameras. Fully mobile Home-Made Explosive (HME) simulator, fog and flasher systems and surprise targets can be activated on the CCS side, as well as triggered by compression and pressure relief traps.
